Concept
Kagurazaka / Iidabashi Innovation Square
We will change the world by ourselves with technology.
―― It may not get much attention right now. But one day, that technology will eventually become the standard of the world.
Kagurazaka / Iidabashi area is the center of the venture company support ecosystem
It is a competition to support all entrepreneurs and venture companies related to technology that will support future innovation in Japan.
Qualification requirements
The application conditions are for businesses that fall under any of the following.
1) Those who have been in business for less than 5 years *
2) Those who are aiming for listing
3) Those who are preparing to start a technology venture company or have already registered as a corporation *
There are no restrictions on the type of industry for application, but products and services that match the concept of the competition are eligible.
* Even if it has been 5 years since the company was founded, you can apply if you have a specific plan to go public.
* Even if you are an individual, you can apply if you are planning and preparing to start a business as a corporation.
* If the company judges that it is not suitable for the tournament to support, such as conducting a business that is offensive to public order and morals, we will refuse the application.

About the award

Speaker Hau Koh Foo
The Director of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE) at the Singapore Management University (SMU)
Graduated from the National University of Singapore with an Honors Degree in Computer Science. He then earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Received NCS Undergraduate Scholarship and UCLA John E Anderson Fellowship.
Prior to joining SMU in 2016, Hau Koh FooH was Head of Innovation and Enterprise at the National University of Singapore (NRF). He oversees the national framework for innovation and enterprise at NRF, investing in high-tech startups and seeding early-stage venture capital funds in Singapore. Prior to that, he was a project manager for NCS Group, a subsidiary of SingTel.
